Ceracell For the Love of Bees- Natural Bee Keeping School

  • Campbell Free Kindergarten SH16 Northwestern Motorway Auckland, Auckland, 1010 New Zealand (map)

Sponsored by Cerecell
In collaboration with Beezthingz ltd

Our informative classes run for 2 hours from 10am to 12pm on the first Sunday of every month.

We meet in the HIstorical Kindergarten in Victoria Park and work on three hives that are placed in the Park as part of the Social Sculpture For the Love of Bees - A City Bee Collaboration 2016-2018.

Our beekeeping classes are where beginner beekeepers, hobbyists, and bee enthusiasts can come and learn natural beekeeping techniques from an experienced and urban beekeeper.

Classes follow an efficient layout covering the basics, general Inspection method, month specific inspection tasks and any questions that come up during the session. The purpose of these classes is for beginner beekeepers to come and learn the best practices passed on through experiencing happy Bees.

Everything we do is for the wellbeing of the colony as the prime objective and not the maximisation of honey production.

Our students will learn to 'listen' to the colony and this is not just 'audio'! Bees actually 'communicate' with the beekeeper.
