Pollinator Paths is a new movement that aims to connect Auckland's parks and reserves together to make pollination pathways. These pathways will help bring crucial pollinators into our urban areas to enable our growing urban food network thrive.
This project was the winner of the Unitec Institute of Technology Environment Award, top 5 finalist in the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architecture (NZILA) Resene Pride of Place student awards and winner of the Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED) IDEAstarter competition.
Andrea Reid, the founder of Pollinator Paths, is currently developing their second location, the Butterfly Berm, which is set to launch mid-2017.
